During these unprecedented times, we have been praying for God’s leadership, with the hopes of being able to return to cooperate worship. This past Friday, May 7th, Governor Kay Ivey along with other members of the COVID-19 task force released guidelines that churches should follow upon being allowed to reassemble for in-person worship services. Your staff met together this past week, and have put together, along with the state’s guidelines, what we believe will be the best plan for us to be able to worship together in person. So here is how upcoming worship services will look under those guidelines:
We will provide a nursery for children 4 years old and younger — we will be dividing the children into ages 2 and under in one area and 3 - 4 year old's in another. There will be a special time with the pastor during the worship service called “Pastor’s Pals”; Pastor’s Pals will take the place of children’s church for the time being.
All areas of the church have been sanitized and must be sanitized between services per
the guidelines given by the state. Mrs. Felicia and I have met and she has assured me
that the building will be ready each week for those who choose to attend.
A few other things: If you are running a fever or do not feel well please consider watching
from home. If you would like to wear a mask, then we encourage you to do so. If
you choose not to, this is fine also. We will not be having our traditional “fellowship”
time or traditional offering time as we have done in the past. The offering plates will be
placed at the “exits” and on the stage for you to give each week. We will have plenty of
hand sanitizer at your disposal. The water fountains will be cut off, but the bathrooms
will remain open.
If you choose to wait to come back or have to work or are sick; our worship service
will continue be live streamed on the Daleville Baptist Facebook page and will be uploaded onto our
YouTube page normally by Sunday afternoon.
Finally, we ask you to be patient with us. We might have to make more changes or
adjustments. If our crowd is more than expected, we will consider two services. But,
with two nurseries we will need extra workers, so please consider volunteering. You
may contact Miss Darby Thompson or Mrs. Tracey Kirkland to volunteer.
Thank you for your faithfulness to pray during this time. And we also appreciate your
encouraging words. We have heard them. I truly look forward to worshiping with you
this Sunday.

- We are reopening the building for service starting May 17th, 2020 for one weekly worship gathering at 11am Sunday Morning; Sunday Nights and Wednesday Night Services will remain postponed at this time. Sunday School will continue to be offered virtually on Zoom at 8:30am each Sunday morning; This class is led by Bro. Bill Filmore — find out how to join at this website.
- Upon arrival we ask that all non-handicapped persons enter the building through the main doors that lead out to Donnell Blvd. Our ushers will be seating you by family. Social distancing is a must so we are asking you to remain seated with your family so that we can accommodate all who attend. For those who are handicapped or need assistance then we ask that you enter through the door in the turnabout.
